Stoodley Pike Painting

This week I finished my painting of Stoodley Pike. It began life in one of my classes, where I was teaching landscape painting. The photograph kindly supplied by my student! I loved the mist in the photograph and the foliage framing it. I carried on in spots and spurts, layering colours, looking for shadows in the mist.
